We take into consideration your lifestyle needs, price range, and the unique features of your property to create the best design for you.
If you see a plan you like but would prefer a few minor changes, such as window locations, adding a deck, or moving interior partition walls, we will make those changes. You may bring your original ideas to us and we will create a customized Redrock plan specifically for you and your building site.
Custom building means that every homeowner receives blueprints tailored to their house and building site. It also means that each house is bid on an individual basis, and the features you prefer in your house will be designed in. Unless you supply your own engineered plans or do not require our design services, we factor in the outlay of designing and drawing blueprints for each individual. |

SWEDISH KERF HOUSE LOGS

| At Redrock Log Homes we use only DRY lodgepole pine and spruce logs, grade to T.P.I. Wall Log 30 or better. With our Swedish Kerf method, every log is uniform in diameter, with 8, 9, 10 and 12-inch diameters available. The logs come in standard 12 to 20 foot lengths. Each log is interchangeable, eliminating the need to search through several bundles of logs for one specific log. Our log system allows for window and door location changes after the package has been ordered. Construction is fast and the end result is strong solid wall. Since the logs are dry (10 to 15% approximate moisture content) they are much lighter in weight than most house logs. Our dry logs will greatly minimize any shrinkage, warping or movement after construction. |
